The in-game mod loader has been completely rewritten from scratch so that it is easier to use for users to understand, and easier for developers to get started with. There are currently 3 official releases and 2 promotional releases for the PAYDAY 2 Official Soundtrack. The BLT has been updated to support LuaJIT in Payday 2, and the BLT has changed massively thanks to a huge update. Owners of the PAYDAY 2 Official Soundtrack will also receive any in-game future tracks released for free, including any music that is released alongside a DLC that the player does not currently own. Purchasing this soundtrack on either the Steam Store or Band Camp website will grant access to all tracks released as part of the Official soundtrack, including Official Single Releases and Remix Material released by Overkill.
As PAYDAY 2 grows, the Overkill B-Sides soundtrack grows with it, and new tracks are added for free.
